Panic!
Have I lost my momentum?!
That was my worry last week, but that was also in the middle of coaching two kid baseball teams, and all sorts of other stuff that had nothing to do with this project. Finally I was able to spend some good time on the manuscript yesterday. No, there has not been a significant addition to the word count (still hovering around 15,000 words), but I finally reigned in the content and theme again. It was very consistent through the first three chapters, then by chapter 8 I felt like it was getting away from me. Well it had, a little, but not as badly as I had feared. Taking a sweep through the manuscript, however, revealed the glaring points requiring more content … a few more interviews, which I already have scheduled.
Getting closer! The practical end is near.
