Falling pieces
Interesting how often necessary elements fall into place when you pursue something with honest motivations, and true intentions.I was fortunate enough to attend my 20th college reunion this last weekend up at Cornell. For the very first time I was not trying to impress anyone. Yes. The first time. Frightening but true. There are many factors that have brought me to this place of not feeling like I have to impress, and how wonderful this place is. Comfortable yet full of energy. Before this, all of my energy was frenetic, and difficult to channel. Now maintaining focus is easier. The momentum is the difficult issue as my role is still that of managing the kids, and as I like to say, “life gets in the way.” Wouldn’t life be wonderful if we could always, at any time, do the things that we want to do right then with total disregard for anyone else’s needs? Well, that’s not my life, and I would not want to meet the person who lives their life that way. I’m very happy with what I have, and look forward to getting Virtually Real done, despite life getting in the way.
